Traverse Grid Fleece

The Traverse Grid Fleece is a breathable midlayer for steep approaches, exposed traverses, and days when output and weather change quickly. Its open-grid interior moves heat and moisture away from the body, while a smooth outer face layers cleanly beneath a shell.

A close, mobile cut keeps the fleece useful under a pack without restricting reach. The full-length front zip provides fast ventilation, and low-profile pockets remain accessible above a hip belt. Reinforced high-wear zones add durability without turning the layer into a bulky jacket.

Wear it over a base layer in cool, dry conditions or between a base layer and shell when wind and precipitation arrive. It is designed to stay comfortable through repeated climbs, short stops, and rapid temperature swings.

Recycled polyester grid fleece with a small amount of elastane for mobility; smooth-knit pocket bags; recycled nylon reinforcement at the shoulders and lower back; low-profile molded zippers.

Recommended use

• Close all zippers and machine wash cold with similar colors on a gentle cycle. Use mild detergent and do not use fabric softener or bleach.
• Air dry when possible, or tumble dry low. Do not iron or dry clean. Wash only when needed to preserve the fabric finish and reduce fiber shedding.

Cuffs, pocket openings, and small tears can be reinforced through the Forward repair program.

The repairs programme
